New Ultra Low Dropout Linear Voltage Regulators...

Our expanding family of high performance ultra-low voltage dropout regulator ICs operate over a wide input voltage range and deliver dropout voltages down to 200 mV. Features include low noise, stable outputs with a low cost 1 µF MLCC, thermal shutdown, and current limit. Available packages include E-SO8, SOT-23, SOT-25 and SOT-70.

For example, the APE8968MP-3 is a 3A ULDO with a typical dropout voltage of 230mV with a 3A load, package in an enhanced SO-8 for improved thermal performance in an SO-8 footprint.

In 2006, Advanced Power Electronics Corp. was granted a license by International Rectifier to manufacture a range of power management IC products which IR discontinued by the end of that year. Many of these products are now in production by APEC, and are produced at the same wafer foundry with identical mask sets, ensuring the same performance.
